Meet safely

• Meet in well-lit public places. Many police stations and banks offer safe-exchange zones.
• Bring a friend. Tell someone where you are going and when to expect you back.
• Inspect the item before you pay. Test it if you can.

Pay safely

• Use HuLofton messaging and, where offered, HuLofton-supported payment for the record it creates.
• Be cautious of buyers or sellers who insist on unusual payment methods (gift cards, wires, crypto for small consumer items).
• Never share your login, one-time codes, full card number, CVV, or bank credentials with another user or with anyone claiming to be HuLofton support.

Hire safely

• For regulated services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, medical, legal, financial, childcare, transportation) independently verify licenses, insurance, and current status with the relevant authority.
• Get a written scope, price, and timeline before work starts.

Report anything wrong

Use the Report and Block controls on any listing, message, or profile. Contact /support for anything urgent. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
