  • I am responsible for any required licenses, permits, insurance, and bonds.
  • I set my own prices, schedule, and methods.
  • I am not a HuLofton employee or agent.
  • I am responsible for my own taxes, workers, safety, and compliance.
  • The information I publish about myself and my services is truthful.

2. Regulated categories

For services that are typically regulated (e.g. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, medical, legal, financial, real estate, childcare, transportation), HuLofton collects and displays credential information:

  • License required: yes / no / uncertain

3. What HuLofton does not call you

  • Not a "HuLofton contractor"
  • Not a "HuLofton employee"

You will be referred to as an independent provider, service provider, listed provider, or marketplace provider.

4. Customer disclosure

Every services surface displays: "Licensing and insurance requirements vary by location and service. Providers are solely responsible for determining and satisfying applicable requirements. Customers should independently verify credentials, insurance and current license status before hiring."

Follow our Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use, and Prohibited Items policies. Do not solicit off-platform payments to avoid fees or safety protections.
